A popular choice for private jet charter holidays is the Maldives. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury from the minute you step on the plane until the minute you arrive home, take a private jet to the Maldives.

The summer never ends in the Maldives. Although it is warm throughout the year there are slight variations in the temperature during certain periods determined by the monsoons. The North east monsoons, from November to April are mostly dry with very little wind, while the Southwest monsoon from May to October brings some rain and wind. Being on the equator, the monsoons are mild and the temperature varies only a little. The annual average daily temperature is between 30.4 and 25.4 degrees Celsius. The average rainfall is below 2 mm per annum.

Sun, sand and sea, a thousand ‘Robinson Crusoe’ islands, massive lagoons with different depths and infinite shades of blue and turquoise, dazzling underwater coral gardens; a perfect natural combination for the ideal tropical holiday destination. However there is more to the Maldives than just that.

The chain of 1190 little coral islands scattered across the Indian Ocean that forms the archipelago of the Maldives is 80 -120 km wide. Only 201 islands are inhabited by the local people, and 83 islands are developed exclusively as tourist resorts, while the rest are uninhabited.

Zitahli Resort and Spa Kuda-Funafaru is a 5 star deluxe property located on the idyllic Noonu Atoll, on the northern part of Maldives. All guests are greeted and escorted to the exclusive Zitahli Lounge to await a scenic 40 minute flight over breathtaking azure water.

This intimate un-spoilt island is the perfect escape for anyone seeking privacy and pure indulgence. Moonlight walks, private dinners on the beach or romantic picnics on surrounding deserted islands, Kuda-Funafaru welcomes you and promises you will be back.

Sri Lanka lies in the Indian Ocean just off the south east coast of India. 435 km long and 225km wide, it is shaped like a teardrop. The hill country rises in the southern central area and is surrounded by a coastal plain.

A hot and bustling city which few locals or tourists seem to love - far better to escape beyond it as soon as possible if the city is not your scene - but it’s likely that you will end up spending a day or night there at either end of your trip.

Over one thousand kilometres of palm fringed sandy beaches encircle the Island. Sri Lanka is never out of season for a beach holiday. There is always some part of the beach that has friendly and warm waters. The beach resorts in the West Coast, South Coast and the East Coast are popular among the tourists who enjoy taking a dip in the warm waters and relaxing on the sandy beach.

Taj Exotica is one of the most luxurious five star beach resorts in South Asia. The 162 deluxe room hotel is located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka along the golden mile beach at Bentota. Taj Exotica is uniquely located on a large headland overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Taj Exotica, Sri Lanka is the perfect sanctuary for a luxurious holiday on Asia’s most exotic island, known for thousands of years as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean.
